Core Objective

The core objectives of the Auto Wash Attendant is to perform to Auto Wash tasks with a high level of proficiency, provide excellent customer service, increase sales and keep the facilities maintained.

Roles & Responsibilities

Daily Auto Wash Operations and Maintenance

· Physically guide customers through the auto wash process as required

· Manage overall vehicle flow and production in auto wash operation

· Inspect detailed cars to ensure customer satisfaction with every wash

· Perform all essential duties and responsibilities of a auto wash attendant

· Ensure auto wash quality standards by paying particular attention to customer comments and complaints

· Handle customer concerns, accidents, incident reports

· Perform housekeeping and check all wash parts and pumps daily to ensure safety of all employees and customers

· Answer customer questions, provide information and resolve customer complaints

Customer Service & Sales

· Greet customers at the terminals and assist with transactions in a friendly and professional manner

· Provide courteous and efficient service throughout the customer’s experience

· Maintain a clean and orderly setting in and around Auto Wash

· Gain an in-depth knowledge of products and services offered to promote all areas of the business and brands

Facilities & Inventory

· Assist in nightly inventory counts on a variety of products

Job Qualifications:

• Possess excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service
• Be self-motivated, punctual and reliable
• Work well in both an independent and team environment
• Maintain an overall friendly and professional manner
• Strong mechanical skills
• A “Propane Training Certificate” would be an asset, however, is not a requirement of the role as on-site training certification training is available
• Experience with car wash equipment maintenance and repair would be considered an asset but not a requirement of the role

Job Responsibilities

• Provide courteous and efficient service throughout the customer’s experience
• Answer customer questions, provide information and resolve customer concerns
• Maintain a clean and orderly environment, ensuring gas pumps are always clean, stocked with paper, garbage and recycling containers emptied regularly, cleaning up fuel spills

• Receive orders daily - Keep the overstock areas organized and tidy using the FIFO system (First In, First Out).
• Assist customers at the Propane Station
• Provide assistance at the Auto Wash during times where Auto Wash attendants are not scheduled

• general upkeep of auto wash site ( interior tunnel cleanliness, pressure washing, garbage removal, clearing debris from water collection catch basin, exterior maintenance and cleaning )
  
• Provide secondary support to propane and shipping/receiving departments if/when needed
  
• Able to assist with small odd jobs around the Paz Fuels site ( with upper management support )
